So here’s something a little bit different.

After having played the J7W1 in War Thunder for a while and determined that it is objectively the best aircraft in the game (except the repair cost which was increased again last patch, fuck you too Gaijin), I’ve been wanting to dedicate some sort of image to it. I’ve liked the idea of aeromorphs for a while now but I’ve never really had an excuse to draw one of my own until now.

*Shrugs* So yeah, here’s some plane waifu for you.

Not for me, the only 'plane waifu' I'd want is either Ishani vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net/d… or Rochelle cdn.campaignbrief.com/assets_c…

Of course it's expensive to repair.
It's Russian Thunder.

What's that you say, comrade?
Queue times too long for era IV Japan, comrade?
Increase repair cost, make everyone stop playing era IV Japan. Queue times cease to exist, problem is solve. Buy more golden eagles, comrade.

Yeah....I'll admit that I've taken advantage of the T-34s before to print off golden eagles using wagers. If Gaijin is going to sit around and let broken elements of the game remain broken, then I feel it is only fitting to exploit those broken elements in order to steal from them. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I love War Thunder, I think it has the potential to be a truly incredible game....but I have unending hate for Gaijin because as long as they're around, it's never going to be.

Couldn't agree more.
I also have the same kind of relationship with the ARMA games. I have ARMA 2, which is a great game, but the community now consists entirely of kids who get the game to play DayZ.

Not doubting you there, DayZ was definitely one of the worst things to happen to the ArmA community. However, my understanding is that the ArmA community really doesn't shine until you get into the group scene....so long as you pick a group that's not full of little kids.

That's just going off of what I've said/heard, though. I mainly just play ArmA 3 SP missions, so what do I know.

Uh, right.

I'm curious then, why do you say that?
I'm not going to argue that ArmA 3 doesn't have its flaws, but I'd rather be playing it than the clunky mess that ArmA 2 was.

I'm just miffed about how they made a complete mess of the whole "future" angle.
That, and the fact that despite all the tactical realism groups migrating to A3, it's still swamped with idiotic Life servers and pseudo-DayZ modes.

Ah. I'm not concerned so much with the whole near future setting as I am with the various improvements to core mechanics that ArmA 3 introduced. ArmA to me has always mostly been a platform for user-made content anyway, so I don't really think it's a huge loss if the vanilla content isn't up to snuff (which I personally thought wasn't terrible, but that's just my opinion).

My understanding is that all the tactical realism groups play on their own servers - it's an entirely independent world from the rest of the ArmA pub community. Not that the Life and pseudo-DayZ servers aren't a problem of course, the general consensus is that they should not exist. Just don't play on them, I say. *shrug*
