When I saw this short film, I simply couldn't believe it was made by fans on such a low budget! The acting and the choreography was so good! And it was even shot in a style reminiscent of Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings films! I highly recommend it to fans of the films and the books!
I found Adrian Webster's portrayal of Aragorn very intriguing, so I absolutely had to draw him. He's got such introspective, melancholic eyes... really different from Viggo Mortensen's Aragorn.
Done within 2 hours with 6H, HB, 2B and 8B pencils with reference material in my sketchbook. The quality isn't very good unfortunately; my friend took a photo of it with her camera and it eroded most of the details.

Excellent job here, it looks *just* like him... which could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on how you look at it... Personally, I think Adrian Webster looks like a creep... you know, a real creeper-creep, as opposed to the tall, dark, and handsome good-creepy kind played by Viggo. I think my dislike of Adrian is mostly due to his hair, which is disturbingly fluffy and goes down in my book as the world's worst haircut. But either way, you *did* portray him quite accurately and that is something you can be proud of.

I agree the The Search for Gollum was mind-boggling good for a fan made spectacle, and you did a great job rendering this version of Aragon, it looks really fantastic. The softness and sorrow is very evident in the eyes and the mouth. Wonderful job!

I really liked that film. I couldnt believe fan made cinema would look so... professional.
And um. I think... this aragorn.. is more loyal to the books than the movie one ? a solemn remnant of a dying people?

The Foundation course is very tough; there are 250 seats available for Medicine this year but 700 Foundation students
