"What's so unusual about that, princess?" he asked quietly. "Do you know how your story ends?" --Dustfinger, Inkheart--Paul Bettany as Dustfinger from the upcoming movie 'Inkheart'. That's Gwin on his shoulder. It's my first time drawing a marten.
Done in 3 hours with reference material using F, 2H, HB, 2B, 4B and 8B pencils and a cotton bud in my sketchbook.

A minor correction: Gwin is a marten in the books, but they used a ferret in the movie instead.
So, I technically drew a ferret instead of a marten.

I think Paul Bettany made a good Dustfinger,
but I still think the books are better then the movie.

Ohmigosh! This is amazing! It looks just like Dustfinger! You captured Paul Bettany looks perfectly, who was made to play Dustfinger. Dustfingers' one of my all time favorite characters, and when I saw him the first time in the movie I was like, "He looks just like how I pictured him!!" Gwin's fur is amazing looking, too!
