Definitely better. Some of my favorite scenes are the extended ones. XD The theatrical versions are interesting, sure, but the extended ones... let me think... It's like there's more explanation of stuff in those.

The Fellowship of the Ring would be my favorite, I think. TTT is a little... well, I dunno how to describe it. And RotK is the end. No fair. As for Helm's Deep, I really, really, REALLY like the Elves' arrival. Gives me shivers every time. Whoo!

No, it's my late maternal grandfather. He passed away when he was 89.

That's very sad and my own grandfather passed away when he was 86. He was the most wonderful man in the world.

I hardly knew my grandfather. He passed away before I was one. He had throat cancer.
But my mom said he was a really strict man who was really health-conscious. In fact, she says that if he hadn't got the cancer, he'd probably still be alive and kicking today.
