Description
Well, now that i resumed creating art the most important thing is to bash right through all the barriers i used to have, which means more paintings of stuff because i never really painted much albeit i loved it.
So, to start demolishing stuff, i started with a quick 20 min painting of a torso, since i never did one xD
I did not use any reference and in fact you can clearly see i had no idea about what i was doing, i know anatomy but i never actually painted a torso so there is work to do!
Now that i know the starting point in painting torsos, i'll observe and visually study some chest photos to see how much i can improve this baseline, and maybe if i feel like it i'll even paint using a photo as a reference, although i think visual observation is more than enough since it has always served me well (as you know, i have very little practice in both painting and drawing, but nevertheless kept improving because i looked at stuff more carefully xD)
I don't dislike this initial result considering my incredibly low level of actual practice, but i will definitely have to carefully observe some photos because this can be improved a lot (especially the abs and the serratus area)
Looking forward to showing you some big improvements in the next painting of a torso, although for now i'll be looking for more baselines so i will try out new things i never did, especially animals, and then will start working on improving the stuff i noticed needs improvement the most... no okay, who am i kidding, i will keep doing what i feel like doing and never actually apply this logic, but at least i tried to set up a logic path xD

If anyone is interested, i'm opening commissions to try my hand at it, since now i should have the time to do so.
Whatever your age or your budget, you can send me a message any time and based on your budget we can find a suitable quality/delivery time.
Yes, even 1$ is fair game, because i'm just starting and i'm mostly trying my hand to check whether or not i could manage it.
Just send a message and we will discuss any commission you'd like!
