I changed this work i made in 2009 because it was no longer reflecting my character, which has evolved as you see in the new work.

I just looked him up on google images, gotta say the only thing they have in common is "white" hair, but i guess you meant that as a compliment, so, in that case, thank you xD
People tend to compare something new with something they already know that's similar, which is why he reminds you of that manga, while someone else is reminded of another manga, another one of a game, etc.. xD

I've poked around your gallery a bit, and I love how passionate you are about your game and of course putting your character in the spotlight like that. And above everything else, he is a strong character as he is completely original and not fandom based. He certainly can remind about him (guess it's the drawing style^^), but he really isn't Light, or even based on him.
My inspiration was pretty much Machiavelli and many other smart people of the past, Light is just another representation of them.
But he indeed is different from Light, this will be clear by reading the introduction i submitted recently
