The freckle traits on cheek and forehead usually together, but its common that they can have another trait and freckles!
The among of freckles can vary so you can have just three small freckles or more! It's common that the freckles vary in sizes (but not too big like the spot traits)

Just making sure-- do the cheek, nose, horns and brows all have to be the same color?
I made the cheeks and nose the same color, but the brows are the same color as his hair and the horns are a completely different color. Is this okay? (Is this considered uncommon?)

you can combine them ( cheek trait + forehead trait etc) but not make your own traits

yes you can do any markings on the body
