You're welcome. I have to thank my sister for showing me the anime. It's a very inspiring anime, and i love that art and animation.
It's hard to pick a favourite character. After watching it I really came to like Gija because he's so funny and I can relate to him because he reminds me of myself, same with Shinah he is like me as well sweet and shy but then has a very powerful side to him. He may look innocent but he is a bomb lol. Jeaha he's cool, but i got really annoyed of his character, the classical charmer but yet very conceited. Zeno he's pretty cute as well but we just met him so idk what he is like, seems like he has a strong back story.
Yona she is amazing, I really like her character and she's strong but i love how innocent she is. Reminds me of myself again LOL. Its was nice to see her grow and transform into this powerful women, and to watch her struggle it felt so realistic.
Hak is pretty strong character, and i like how cold he is because its a big contrast compared to the others. He's cute as well but i love a lot of his facial expressions to certain situations its almost like you can feel it. Its fun to see him interact with Yona because you know he likes her but fails to deliver LOL. I like in some of the moments in the anime were he was vulnerable and was showing his soft side when he was taking care of Yona.

I don't know whether they'll make the season 2 of its anime,
but you absolutely should read its manga. The art is really pretty !
I like all the characters, because they all had through a lot which made them who they are now.
I felt like i could relate to them and understand why they behave like that now
They have deep past, and surely worth to meet yona now /////

Its also made me think of Sailor Moon as well, which was another reason why I came to love the series. I am a big fan of Sailor Moon for years, and I like how this is slightly similar but in dragon version 
I do agree with your that Akatsuki no Yona has its own charm, its quite different from other anime's. I like its traditional tone, such as the traditional music and the historical setting. Its something we've never seen in anime's because most of them were futuristic such as SAO. The art style is different as well i love how expressionistic the eyes are, especially when the emotion changes you can feel it yourself. The detail in the hair when animated is beautiful, the animation was clean and fluid which i loved. Compared to Sailor Moon Crystal that I watched, which had good art and animation but wasn't consistent. My sister and I just finished reading the Manga and the story is really good and you were right the drawings are so beautiful. I know that the author is still writing this manga so its cool to read as she uploads its more excited because she recently uploaded a couple of chapters.
I really hope that they do a season 2 because there were moments in the manga that would be cool to see animated.
After reading the manga I like all the characters now because your right they all had a in depth back story especially Zeno, which helped me understand them a bit more. I can see now how you were able to related to each of them after reading more of the manga.

I hope so too, so many precious moments that I wanted to see animated. I think that there will be a second season because there were a lot of viewers and the rating was high so thats a good start. I hope it comes soon too, and hopefully we don't have to wait till next year o.o.
Akatsuki no Yona seems like both anime and manga versions have pretty high ratings according to what my sister told me, and the author still posting new chapters meaning there must be success
I haven't started drawing yet, its been busy on my end all of a sudden. I really hope I can start soon, I want to do a speed record of my Yona drawing. I understand that time is an issue, I feel you on that, been busy with job searching, and family events.

Akatsuki no Yona is still going on steady with its chapters,
so we can take it that the rating is great and it will still continue.
And the anime got 24 episodes are a good start,
because well, usually shoujo anime will get mostly 12 episodes from what i know.
Yeah, I'm kinda busy lately too,
due to my internship starting and I have almost no free time to do personal project :'')
But i guess I'll try to do some of it slowly.

I think your right the manga is still continuing meaning that the series is doing well, which could lead to a continuation. Good point because there were some anime's that only had 10 eps. I didn't know about the average shoujo anime, thats good then.
That sucks, I totally understand about internships, all the best to you. I hope that you can have some time on your own to create.
