Master Org is giving a speech to Jindrax and Toxica. Toxica is suspicious about him, but Jindrax brushes off her concerns. Up on the Animarium, Cole has just finished reading Taylor's Ranger Rulebook. His tribe must've been able to read English. Cole tells Taylor that there are too many rules. I'm wondering how many exactly she has, and if any of them mirror Zordon's rules.
Cole tells Taylor that they only need one rule, teamwork. Taylor gets offended, since she's the one who wrote the rulebook. Shayla explains to the Rangers that she's relied on Taylor, because she was the first to become a Wild Force Ranger.
Taylor goes out for a walk, and overhears a woman reading a story to her child, which mirrors Shayla's own story about the history of the Animarium.
There was unity between humans, animals and nature. The peace didn't last, as from a puddle of mud rose Master Org! He brought with him Org monsters, and attacked everything. Five defenders rescued Shayla and took her to the Animarium, where she fell into a magic sleep. The five warriors rose the island of the Animarium with magic. Shayla continues, that as pollution has built up, the Orgs are returning.
Elsewhere, in the present, an Org is attacking. It has the ability to turn people invisible, and looks like a camera! Two of it's victims ask Taylor for help. She contacts the others, and they rush to her aid. The Rangers see ambulances trying to care for more people turned invisible.
Taylor finds the Org, but Jindrax and Toxica help it to turn Taylor invisible! Cole blames himself, he's the one who made Taylor upset enough to leave the Animarium. He finds the Org, and tries to outsmart it. The others try to help, but are held back by Putrids. Cole knocks over the Org and morphs. He steals the "film" from it and restores all of it's victims. The Org has a backup film, but Taylor suddenly smashes its lense! His powers are useless. Even without it's ability, it's still a tough foe. It wraps the Rangers up in giant camera film! Cole manages to free himself enough to use his weapon, the Lion Cannon. The Rangers defeat the Org, and Toxica revives him as a giant. We get a long Megazord formation sequence followed by a pretty short battle. The Org is defeated for good.
Up on the Animarium, Cole and Taylor are getting along, and Taylor is starting to accept Cole as the leader of their team.

This is a very good first standard episode, a monster with a creative ability that requires all the Rangers to work together to defeat them.
In Shayla's flasback, Master Org looks exactly how he does normally. On Rangerwiki, in the trivia, this was called foreshadowing. It's actually the opposite. Foreshadowing would've been if Master Org had looked different.
The five warriors she mentions are dressed in white with silver armor and helmets. As a kid, I wondered if one of them was Zordon. At that point, we'd only been given one or two teensy peeks at Zordon pre-tube. He was wearing what looked like puffy white clothes, and he had something on his head. Now it's easy to discover that it was stock footage of Barza from Zyuranger, and he's obviously nothing like any of the five warriors here. At the time though, it really inspired my imagination.
The scene with the little boy being read a story is very Sentai-like in tone. It's the type of scene I don't think Power Rangers would've had in the past.
