Wow, it's my first drawing in the deviant site ! Yipee !!! Oh, I like this pic very much and I made it in 20 hours ( I think... maybe less) ! What d'ya think ? Huh ? Isn't it beautiful ? I've made it in the computer of course !^^Here's the original pic owned by Capcom, the Physis Cover !

That's Zero from MMX (Megaman X) or RMX (Rockman X) ^^ but I took from an original artwork from the Remastered tracks cover of "Rockman Zero".
Take a look on google "Rockman Zero" Physis. You'll recognize him.^^

Well, this one's acceptable, because you didn't (mostly) retrace it, but mostly retraces, whether it's directly or altered to fit the (fan)char's design, and of course the direct copy&
Some people (especially adolescents, who think the world turns around them) tend to think they can do whatever they want with official artworks, which is a big mistake. They're more likely to sue them, lol.
It is okay to be inspired by someone else's artwork, but it's not okay to fail to recognize they did put a lot of effort in the artwork themselves too. Just because someone has no talent or didn't have enough practice yet, doesn't mean they can just use other people's art (whether it is to practice or simply because their own art sucks too much and are too lazy to practice practice practice) and claim them their own... The biggest plus of being subscribed is no more (hideous) ad-banners and the fact new deviations have thumbs (which also has a bad side: more pages to browse through 
It doesn't include the printing-service and it doesn't increase the number of viewers. Personally I'd say it's a waste of money, but a friend of mine paid me to get subscribed, so I did, lol.
