You must learn to fight the dark side of yourself, that person is stopping you from achieving your dreams. Sure there are other obstacles, but they can be beaten. The worst obstacle is yourself. Being lazy, putting things off for later, or just giving up are the worst things to think of. I admit I say these things too, and I should be ashamed, because I have so much goals...but I am the one stopping myself...I need to fight the darker side of me. So I can live my dreams.Let's face it, we all fell into the darker side of ourselves sometimes. But we can't give up, never.Ā
So this is my first motivational drawing. The description seems cheesy but my drawing can send a good message, and you should take that message as advice! DO IT!

Thanks for posting this. I've been struck dead in my tracks as far as artwork is concerned. I've stormed up a few ideas but I would just have no motivation. Unlike tonight, where I actually sketched ideas down on paper. For school, I haven't even completed my homework for the thanksgiving break and I normally procrastinate on those things and wait until the last minute. I just really wish I didn't end up being the lazy person that I am today.

It is hard not to be lazy. I know I am, but drawing has become such a hobby of mine that I like doing it, and I wanna draw something everyday. Looking at other people's drawings may help too. Draw some fan art, or something original. Draw something that you really want to draw. Make it fun, don't make it a chore.

Reality is stopping my goals, I embrace my dark side and hope it will help me :3

You don't understand how much this relates to me. It's kind-of scary
Ever since I was little I grew up with people who thought I could do nothing, and it was kinda engraved into my head all my life. Ever since then I judge myself to the point where I... try to hurt myself. It seems no matter how hard I try, I can't satisfy the fact that everything I do looks "worthless" on my eyes. People try to tell me that my art/myself is amazing, but I can't get myself to believe them; I self-judge to the point where I think I'm worthless. I don't know if it's a mental issue I have, but I NEVER love any of my stuff...
But depressing issues aside, I really like this picture. It captures that feel to it that I really like. Way better then what I've ever made! Good work!

Feedback like that while growing up can leave a scar, and it does effect you in the future. But trust me, as a friend and fellow artist, your drawings are awesome! I'm not just saying that. I love cartoons, and I love your drawings! Don't listen to anybody that talks down on you and your drawings. You have talent! Just remember this: Whoever is talking behind your back, that means you're way ahead of them. They're jealous, that's why they give bad comments. And you should only read your good feedback, those people support you and you should be glad to have them commenting on your art. So don't worry, buddy. Your drawings are great!

You should just go ahead and just work on what you got. Finish everything you have. That way, you can do some editing for things you don't like, instead of totally deleting your work. That's also your dark side rejecting all the work you've done, making you delete it. Don't give in.

Well, they were gonna go to hell to get this magical elixir that grants as many wishes as you want. Depending on how many sips you take, of course. I thought it was too similar to Hello Hellhole, but now that I think about it, the only thing that's similar is the hell aspect of it. Should I still go for it?
