Seriously, how are there people who like those films?! Bay gave the robots genitalia obviously because he's over compensating for something! I'll gladly take G1, Beast Era, Unicron Trilogy, Animated, & Prime over Bayformers any time. Yes, I realize that TF: Prime was inspired by an idea of mixing G1 with Bayformers, but at least it's actually a hell of a lot better then Bayformers because it has an actual consistent story to it. And I don't even mind that Prime Bumblebee's design was based on Bayformers Not-Bumblebee. I like him because 1, he actually has a personality, unlike Not-Bumblebee, who is so 1 dimensional & the only notable thing about him is that his voice box is broken & he can somehow access EVERY audio clip on earth through a fucking car radio. Granted, Prime Bee can't talk either & only speaks through buzzing & everyone can somehow understand him, but that makes more sense because then the shit radio thing & it makes me think it's a nice reference to R2-D2 from the Star Wars Trilogy. 2, Prime Bee actually fights, unlike Bay-Bee who watches all of his friends get slaughtered & then randomly turns into a Deus Ex Machina when the plot demands it! 3, Prime Bee's personality seems to be more similar to his Micron Legends/Armada counterpart, Hot Shot, who is an amalgam of personality & design traits of both G1 Bumblebee & G1 Hotrod, which I freaking LOVE!! Hot Shot is 1 of the best characters EVER!! And 4, and I need you to pay attention on this 1(LOL, Team Four Star Imperfect Cell reference.), He saved Optimus from Megatron by stabbing him in the back & gets his voice back in the process!

Yeah. If it were up to him, he'd make Optimus a total racist & homophobe, cover him in American flags & random advertisements, have him shoot missiles from his ass, since Bay likes to give these things dicks & balls, shoot lasers from his dick, use his balls as grenades, & completely replace Peter Cullen with an actor like Bob Saget, to "Make him more kid friendly & stop the parents from bitching".

I'm kinda on a like/dislike level with it.
I disagree with how they learned Ninjutsu in this film. Splinter learning it from Hamato Youshi then teaching it to the Turtles made a lot more sense then being a normal lab rat, mutating, then learning Ninjutsu from a book that's written in Japanese. Hell, Splinter being Hamato Youshi mutated into a giant rat actually works very well, too! Bravo to Nickelodeon for referencing the original cartoon! They obviously respect the source materials more then Bay did.
Also, Shredder has way too many blades on both arms! It makes him seem less skilled then he originally was in the original. All he needed was just his own skills & 2 claw blades to kick some serious ass! This version of the Shredder seems too overly armed & it makes him seem less confident in his own abilities as a Ninjutsu Master by giving him a mech-suit. Granted, the version of the Shredder that's really an Utrom from the 2003 animated series was just a little squid alien in a mech-suit, but even outside of it, he kicked a lot of ass! And when facing 4 mutant turtles trained in the Ninja arts, he kinda needed an even playing field. Thus the mech-suit was necessary.
I for the most part don't mind the Turtles having different accessories to tell them apart better, but it seems like the accessories are a little too overdone. I do like Raph's bandanna covering the whole top half of his head & the sunglasses seem to suit him, but can he actually wear them down is the question, as in will they actually fit his head & cover his eyes properly? Donnie having glasses kinda completes the who nerd look & the night vision goggles are a nice throwback to the 2003 series. The tech-pack is also pretty cool, too. So no complaints about Donnie. Mikey having pucka shell necklaces & sunglasses hanging from them looks kinda stupid & a sweater wrapped around his waste seems ultimately pointless since there's no way in hell he can wear that with him being so huge unless it's in Schwarzenegger size. Leo... like with Donnie, no complaints! I actually like his accessories. He looks like a modernized Japanese warrior, like something from an anime. The shoulder pads, the waste skirts, the... bamboo chest piece thingy.... OK, that's just a minor quarrel, but I do like his look non the less. They're over all design as giant mutant humanoid turtles is actually not bad either. I just hate that Mikey's face is so hideous. The others look great. Leo's face actually reminds me of the old 90s movie version, but downsized & with a nose. Raph looks mean & intimidating. And Donnie looks like the typical nerd. Mikey is the only 1 amongst them who looks terrible. Hell, I don't even mind Splinter's design. It looks very impressive.
Another thing I disagree with is Karai being turned into a murderous killer rather then the most honorable member of the Foot Clan who actually treats her subordinates with respect & compassion. And they made her so 1 dimensional, too! She barely has any lines in the movie! That really pissed me off. Megan Fox as April was a bad choice, They could've picked an actress who could've put a lot more effort into being the character. She just wasn't all that believable.
Bottom line, I just think it could've been better. Bay already fucked up Transformers. The least he can do is make a dissent Turtles film without making all these shitty changes. I know he's only the producer for this film, but with Transformers, he didn't even try to use anything from the source material. He just made up some bullshit & slapped the names of Transformers on a bunch of stupid walking CGI scrap piles. Optimus & Jazz are the only ones who even come close to resembling they're original counterparts & even they don't look quite right. Bay just butchers beloved & sacred children's fictional heroes & thinks he's being cleaver & creative, when really he's making our heroes look immature, vulgar, perverted, & stupid.

It's goofy, it's funny, it's random, it's over the top ridiculous, but it's totally in character for the turtles to do something like this before a battle. Just like the 90s movie versions & the 2003 animated versions! That's why I can't completely dislike this film. The guy directing it made sure to do at least a few things right. So, I'm half & half on the like/dislike with it like I said before. Hell, there are actually 1 or 2 things in the Transformers movies that are OK or decent. But not enough to redeem them. They still suck. Classics are never outdated. They're timeless. That's gonna be my new motto from now on in reference to remakes or reboots. "Classics are never outdated. They're timeless."
