What can I say. I seem to be drawn (no pun intended) to the villains and the monsters.

Here's a chance to revisit the Comedian from the Watchmen for a new commission. My usual process of doing some thumbnail layouts to get an idea on a pose. Sometimes one comes to me right away. In this case, I wanted to do a few different ones and let the buyer decide. I tend to get repetitive in my in-your-face kirby style poses. But hopefully the more I do this, the more I'll get comfortable trying different variations.

And since I didn't want to just leave the scrap paper with sketches only in pencil...I thought I'd draw up some head shots of the Comedian (and friends) and tinker around with inking them.
