Description
The next two steps in the process of designing a website mascot.After it was agreed upon that the character be a demon, and more of a serious take (rather than the goofy takes I did in the thumbnail stage), I decided to draw up two different ones.
These are more finished pencil pieces, again with the col-erase blue pencil. The first looks more like a serious version of Lil' Red Hot. The second sort of like Hellboy Jr's cousin.
And finally the finished inked version. The lil halo is supposed to be a "zero"...thus the slash in it.

Cool. Any reason why you didnt take the on all the way on the left? I like that one he looks more badder-asser.

I guess just preference. I left it up to the buyer to decide which one he wanted.

i really dig your process,man...you're generous with all of the versions! i draw just as many sometimes, but i never show the client more than three samples when i present...too many choices will morph into an endless redo...

True. Usually just draw a few to pick from, but I went a little overboard. And of course, the very first design ended up being the one chosen.
