heh That's too funny. I'm no grim reaper so I guess I can explain the black.

Basically what I go is outline the large areas of black with the brush around the edges, and mark with an "X" to remind me to go back later and fill in. Then after the page is done...I'll erase all the stray pencil marks. Then after that, I'll go to the parts that still need to be filled in....take out a new q-tip, dip in the ol' india ink bottle, and spread it over the large areas. I've found it's actually quicker doing it this way, and can smooth out the inks over large areas easier than if I were to do it by brush. Don't know where I heard it, but I'm sure it's something I picked up from some other inkers.

Or...ya can just use the ol photoshop and darken in any areas that ya missed. Of course doing it on the original art always looks better.

thanks a million. i dont think i would have ever tried a q-tip now i am gonna buy some just for that purpose(wish i had caught this message before i went to walmart)

I left it until the very end of the issue to work on, which usually isn't a good thing if under a tight deadline. Luckily I had time to work on this over the course of a few days.

Thanks. I figure it's nice to see some of this here than the smaller printed comic. Sometimes it never prints as clean as it can.
