seriously at 100mm? that's incredible. They are such beautiful creatures. Out at my house by the Zumbro the deer come through a lot, I often wondered about hiding out in the woods watching them.

I forgot to mention.. Iwas out by ryans bay the other night and saw a doe and triplets,
a doe and twins and a couple of other deer, but the light was too low by then
to photograph them.. there are deer every where in that area..

I been out there last year looking around, but there are quite a few homes in that area. Is there any place to really go to photograph? I tried taking photos of deer there that time, that were in this grassy area by a fork in the road.

I found this little guy, and he wasn't going to move just because I found
him.. I could have petted him and he would have stayed frozen. Thats
their instinct. If you sit in the woods and don't move you'd be surprised
how close a deer will come toyou.. until he winds you. then its usually over.
