Description
This was something I sarted a few months ago. Finally decided to finish it.I cannot state this render as mine because unfortunately i cannot recall its origin as I had it for quite a long time in a folder, along with my own.
Hope You like it!
Edit: In regard to some comments i decided to add a little more information into this.
Its sometimes hard to define a meaning of an abstract piece. This ofcourse because it pulls people into finding an imaginary representation of that object, which can vary from person to person.
My idea came a bit from the new particle accelerator and what could come from that. After that base, it was just a matter of focusing on transmiting a good visual sensation and let everyone's mind imagine what it could be...
On a note, Thank You for the DD and for the increasing number of comments.

this is absolutly amazing when I first saw it I thought of a bird, still do in a way but I also see it as a sacrifice, the way the lines pull away from the center is like a creature streched out, giving it's self to the slaughter as a sacrifice. In my opinion beautiful. Could be religious or merely a simplistic peice of art. Very well done. Thanks for the brain teaser

That is so insane. I think it's the universe as a whole and the blue around it is void.

Very nice. I've even been looking for a blue/bluish background and was happy to see that the downloadable version was the perfect size!

I love this!
It looks like some sort of bird dying and falling apart, but since it's abstract, I realize it could be anything. I wish I could do abstract pieces.

It looks like a bird that's been run over by a car, but the background (shades of blue, chemical chains etc) are taken directly from Assassin's Creed interface.
It's a beautiful image, for sure, but one would expect from a talented author to be more straightforward than declare the whole idea as his own.
However, I do apologise in advance, in case I'm wrong, but the similarity with AC is more than obvious.

Heh, so he took a background from Assassins Creed, render from ~somagfx (which he didnt credit.) and added some awesome smudge effect to the render. Clearly worth of DD.

So the hummingbird is actually Altair, who missed a hay pile on his way down
A pity...

It's a humming bird that just got hit with a plasma pistol round, seen through the advanced eyes of a robot in the future.

Made from scratch but yeah the base of concept was taken from AC's background (months ago when it came out)

this has left me staring and questioning "what is it?". needless to say, i've come up with a bunch of options, which makes this a beautiful piece, because its intriguing to me and things usually don't hold my attention for that long. :]
