Description
I'm a big fn of the TRANSFORMERS. Especialy the CONSTRUCTICONS. I'd love to see them get some airtime on the next MOVIE.

would you mind describing for me why you posed them the way you did .
like why is hook measuring something and i assume mix master has that diabolic chemist look. like hes conjouring up some formula .
right now I have finished long haul scrapper and scavenger. working on bonecrusher. my fav

Hook is a perfectionist, and the best way to depict it is by giving him the"measuring" pose. Math is after all an exact science. All the constructicons hate him for being such, worksget delayed most of the time. He is also arrogant.
In my opinion, the only reason why Scrapper made him sit on top as Dev's chest and head in his design, is to feed Hook's ego and at the same time pay for it by being the target of the Autobot's attack. At the same time, Scrapper, being the humble leader that he is (except to his fellow constructicons)
opted to be the leg, also to avoid taking hits.
Scavenger is constantly seeking approval from his fellow constructicons, thus the "thumb's up" and the "pittyful looking face" look I gave him.
Mixmaster of course is the "Mad Scientist", thus the diabolical scheming, chemical concucting pose. Just as you said.
Longhaul is confused, on one hand he wants to be a warrior, in the other he needs to fullfill his role as the constructicons "erand boy".
Finally, Bonecrusher...needs no explaining. You pretty much described him as..."the BAD BOY" of the group.
Devastator is the "Ultimate Ass Kicker". in my view, he was created as a counter against the GUARDIANS. He probably destroyed lots of them millions of years ago, and Omega Supreme is the last of it's kind.
The constructicons, was abducted by Megatron to serve as weapons manufacturers for the Decepticons. They've exeeded Megatrons expectation by creating the ultimate weapon in Devastator. In my opinion, Devastator is the undesputed heavyweight for millions of years before the combining technology was finally duplicated. (G1 history only).

no i don't think your a geek. an artist is supposed to take all these into consideration when working on characters especially when there characitures.
I too am a huge transformers fan , so is my brother much more so then me but the constructicons are my favorite decepticons as a group , soundwave being my favorite overall. there;s no end to his usefulness.
the constructicons I see as the grunts of the decepticon's army there tough and can take a licking with little to no damage.
well right now im working on hook, I am going to have to leave mix master out of the group as the drawing is already way too big .
my brother just recently bought the remake of the original constructicons toys.

It's a shame that mixmaster won't make it to your artwork. Can't you find a way to sneak him in...I mean no offense man but...I think he needs to be there.
Remake of G1 constructicon toy? That's cool. My first transformer toy are the constructicons which i bought using the money I won from a drawing contest when I was at grade school. They're long gone, but I bought fake ones last year which I costomized to make Devastator poseable.
I'll try to post a picture of it here once I find it. It's stocked somewhere with all my old stuff. We moved to a new apartment last January and I forgot all about that toy. Anyways, it's crapy but I'm proud of it.

you got there loks down packed and you got there personalities also which most don't notice.
scrapper has his leader proud pose
long haul has his self conscience look
bone crusher has his i hate everyone and everything look hes my favorite constructicon also.
great awesome job on this , im planing to do a constructicon drawing myself soon.
