Probably not.
You see, the fanfiction that really helped this comic come to be constantly had Shadow closer than is appropriate to Amy--so he can stare into her eyes and read her--and that just seemed really in character for him. I dunno.

I get the feeling that Shadow would have a huge personal bubble of his own, and for him to be so close to someone else, even to someone he really likes or knows very well, would be extremely uncharacteristic of him. But then again, I don't know much about Shadow than general facts and things. I don't read the Archie comics, and I don't really watch the shows. I just play the games. xD

Well, the fanfic is A LOT better than this piece of junk, but...you do have a point there...My perception of what is "In character" and "Out of Character" for Shadow--and all of the others I might add--has changed this past year.
Long periods of talking with myself have landed me with the opinions I have now...which are pretty different from when this rolled around.

I understand--I have written fanfics where the characters do completely out of character things, and lately, I have been stepping away from writing them so that I don't disillusion myself with the real characters and what I perceive to be the characters. Maybe that's what you need to do; just step back, get a little perspective, and work from there.

Oh I have. There is a big art gap between pages...now let me see... 54 and 56? Somewhere around there. A handy little writers block came around. That's where you can see a big difference in both the art style(about where I am now), and how the characters act. (also, that's about where I started to plan where I wanted to go with the plot. This whole time I've just been freelancing. It didn't even have a title.
