Thanks man! No doubt, I'd be honored.
No tutorials yet but one's in the works.
Looks like you have a good grasp on oils. Keep at it and I'll let ya know when I get the tutorial finished.

Thank you very much! Hmmm...I'm really bad at keeping time lol. Between the drying of the underpainting and the last brush stroke I would say about 10 hours. Maybe a bit longer I can work faster on canvas. Something like Meat Head took 45 hours because of the masonite.

i never knew paint dried slower on masonite..have u ever used a speed drying agent like liquin? it would probably mess with the integrity of your color maybe yellow it a bit?

It dries just a bit slower and pulls up easier when you blend. I do use liquin which helps but it's a lot harder to smooth out the paint on masonite. I have this thing where I try to blend out all of the brush strokes...drives me nuts lol!

I think your work is killer and especially with acrylics! They're not easy. Have you ever tried water based oils?

water based oils ? sounds somewhat like a contradiction, I mean , I thought you cant mix water and oil, well, because of the oil ? thats something new to me.

It does sound like a contradiction lol, but it's true. I've never used them but I hear they're pretty easy to work with.

At some point when you're out this way, we should all get together and do a drink and draw over some gruesome art!
