Dean Caputo won the NPC Jr National Heavyweight title in 1986. He quickly became a popular athlete, showing up in lots of articles, ads and magazine covers through the early nineties. He placed well at the USA and North American Championships but never won any further titles. He still is active in the bodybuilding community, with a gym, a small supplement company and as a competition promoter.
