Description
First off let me say, I have nothing but the utmost respect for the artists, creators, designers, and writers of these characters. I understand the process and this is the idea used. This would just be me venting my inner Ghost Rider Sob. I do not like the dino rider. It was too much for me.Related content

I really enjoyed the comic, but the movie left me cold not flaming.
P.S. The original was an old western comic from Marvel comics, I think Ghost Rider did one comic with the old western character.

Come on now, as a fan, Carter Slade was Phantom Rider. Still part of the family. Lol. LIke the new Rider Robbie. The movies...well...if we take Nic Cage out, not too bad. I liked the look of the second movies Rider, but not the story. You have got my inner Rider nerd all excited! Thank you again!!

I loved the old western, even if it was sort of a Lone Ranger rip-off, but they did write interesting plots.

Carter Slade, our Phantom Rider, had great stories! It was a fun time to write for adventure!

They were actually my fathers comics, he loved his old western comics, while I was reading the old run of X-men, he gave me one to read and I became hooked. I did not like his Cisco Kid, or the old four colour comics he had about westerns, even the other Marvel westerns left me pale.

My rider was Johnny. Mom at friends house, I found a pile of old X-men too! Ghost Rider was under them. Good times!!

Sorry had to walk the mutt. I really had a great time with them in my childhood, now there are to many cross-overs and long winded stories about different realities for me to have much interest. Plus I have worked in three bookstores, managed two comic book stores and worked in one comic store in the late 1970's. Suffered the big burn out, and have not touched a book or comic in two years.

Yes I agree. Mostly lately. I like multi-dimensions, but the last big story for Marvel mixed it all together so they could be nostalgic. Due to the nature of Dinosaurs flying jet planes being Ghost Riders, I am also burnt out on the stories. Art now. Lol. Wow, books and you go together with fate huh? I would love to open a fandom store. I have plans..moo ha ha..sorry. Not just a comic store, but pop art studio, swag shop, and more. Cosplay lessons, art lessons, fandom love explored for the joy of that fandom! Sigh, some day soon. I dream. Lol. Thanks for the chit chat too!

Great idea, but getting and replacing stock can be a bitch. We use to have Monster records in Downtown T.O. and they always had a problem restocking collectable merchandise, and even though they had great stock initially and made fantastic sales they had a stead decline in sales as the rest of the stock was what we call foot soldiers, there to fill a hole in the line and make the stock look big.
As for your dreams/goals grab the tiger by the tail and run with it, just do not encompass to many ideas and spread yourself to thin.

Yeah I know that part. That is why I hate my local shop. Snob attitude, no stuff for me. However there are tons of hipster, retro, over expensive crap that no one has bought, in years. I want to be locally customer driven. As a Rider fan I can not get nor have them bothered to get me anything. Focus for me would be not cool stuff to show and no one buy, but crap of the fandom. If there is stock issue, well Hop Topic can get fan stock I have never heard of at my shop. Stock to the collectors, not stock for projected sales on customers that dont come in. I have an expert merchandiser here at home. I plan a different kind of store.

We use to get 60% of our stock from walk-ins, and the rest from distributors. The profit margin was greater off of street purchases then from major suppliers, plus customers will sometimes look out for hot items for the store. With regular customers/sellers we always told them our rules, Between 10%-15% of sell value for fill, 20%-25% for semi new within six months of publishing date, and when we made a request for, need it right now we have a buyer, we would pay as high as 75% of book value, as we had a quick flip as a middle man. This kept us pretty much stocked, plus we always offered a trade for the over priced wall decorations that were very nice, but would not sell to anyone but that once a year person who wander in. I know because I finally sold my T.M.N.T #1 after two years of it hanging on the wall and being displayed in the window,( I wish I had of kept that).
