At San Deigo Comicon this past Summer I had a meeting with Sideshow Collectibles where they contracted me to design a line of statues based off the women of Marvel Comics. Dagger ( of Cloak and Dagger) is the first one to come off the line and I gotta say, I couldn't be happier. Sculptor Adam Ross took my design illustrations and created the 17 inch statue using zbrush. There are 2 versions of the statue, and exclusive and a regular. The exclusive comes with a lithograph of the control art which is seen in the image above. Personally I like the expression of the artwork more than the statue's. It's more calm. The statue is more seductive. But that is only a personal opinion.
Both works are amazing tough, and I love them both. Congratulation!

Okay, I think it's amazing, but my crazy stepdad is all like "He did her face wrong! It's too stern, she was the goody two-shoes and the Cloak was the do what you need to do at all costs guy". He's more of a Marvel nerd than I am, but I'm thinking in a picture that was really just a model for a statuette, does it really matter that much? Bah cranky purist stepdads....
