This is a piece I did a little while ago but never uploaded it. Cloak and Dagger are 2 of my favorite comic characters of all time but I'm not as happy as I could be with this piece. Hopefully I'll be able to talk Marvel into letting me draw a series for the characters at some point and I'll get the chance to really do them justice
-Penciled and inked tranditionally and colored in Photoshop.

Dagger has never looked lovelier! She's utterly gorgeous from head to toes. Beautiful colors on an excellent piece, Mark!

I think the drawing is better. The coloring is very nice, and that shine on the diamond like object is a very nice addition, but I don't like how the colored version makes her look older than she is in the drawing, and also the face of the man in the cloak lost some ruggedness in the transfer (cus the face is just ever so slightly rounder in the colored version, whereas in the drawing it's more a clear-cut square shape, which feels more "rugged.").
Just my thoughts. Love your work.

*sighs* I really wish this Duo was more popular. I own the 4 part origins of them; and it`s amazing. They`ve always been one of my favorites (Along with Warlock from New Mutants which no one knows either -__-; ). I`m really glad to see i`m not alone in my appreciation.

I found issue 1 of this series at a comic book giveaway along with issues of "Detective Comics" and a Marvel series called Glitter or Shimmer or something like that, about a superhero girl who was friends with Peter Parker who wore this glittery white jumpsuit and...roller skates, I believe? Pleasantly surprised to see other fans of C&D.

Dunno about the newer, more recent "Cloak & Dagger" Comics, but I liked the 1980's & 1990's Series. They always were an interesting pair!

This picture is gorgeous, really, and I love the inking and the smooth lines and the expressions, it's just that... I'm sorry, female anatomy *doesn't work that way*. Just looking at her spine makes my lower back throb in sympathy.
I know doing the whole boobs-and-ass-booty thing is an artistic tradition as ingrained into comics as, say, delightfully ridiculous superpowers, but really, one day about five of her discs will rupture simultaneously, and that'll just be *messy*.
