Really fantastic work Mark and again, great to see your process from start to finish. Met you at Heroes this year (and bought your only Art book there) and just like I said then, please keep putting these out - they're great inspiration.

Fantastic work Mark, I actually got about 4 pages in before I wondered who was the artist? it looked like Mark Brooks and Jim Cheung crossed swords to make an art ninja. Nice evolution and thanks for showing us all the hard work!

You always make Kurt look amazing. He doesn't pop out as often as he used to, but when he does, you manage to let everyone know! Thanks!!

Hi,
Like someone before mentioned I can't access the video due to copyright laws. Could you do one without the music? I know it is much to ask for.

Video was cool. But I'm curious what DPI it was at. I've tried inking in Photoshop but it looks horrible since lines can only go down to five pixels thin.
Keep it up!

excellent video. do you prefer to work in digital drawing over traditional? the only real difference I can see in a true professional is the cost between electric for operating digital and the cost of raw materials for traditional.

Never would have thought to create a page fully digital, but to see you d it makes perfect sense why you would want too. I am a pencil and bristol guy, how long did it take you to make the transition to all digital?
I ask because looking at your work, you can see the evolution of the change, but yet your able to retain your style very well throughout the process.
Thanks for the videos it is so helpful for artist like myself to learn and get better!!!

Stellar example, very inspirational... and a tad sad... After this a handful of pencils is going to wither and die, going to a graphite heaven.. and many more shall follow...

In this run X-Force travels to the AOA universe, if I'm not mistaken. So Kurt is technically alive in that universe.

This is so amazing! I love the textures on the pencils and the inks are so very crisp and lovely. As much as I love colors, sometimes I wish books would come out with an inks-only version of the books, your inks really are gorgeous.

great work
I dont have a Cintiq, but isnt it better to just ink yourself (since you do all the work digitally) the inker's work is perfect, I'm curious about your process

Mark, this is unbelievable. Keep making more videos!
I'm curious as to why you make custom brushes to mimic pencils instead of inking directly over your roughs with a black brush.

Thanks man! I have done some inking this way but it just doesn't have the same look as traditional inks so having them inked by hand is the best way to get them to look as good as I'd like them to look.

I applaud you for this decision. Not that your digital inks are bad by any means, but the fact that you see a difference and are wiling to go for the higher quality art. Kudos to you sir and thank you.
