Did you ever used to 'play pretend' when you were like, really little? Well thats pretty much it. Except you use OC's and Canon characters. (Canon means characters that already exist in the show or comic or whatever your roleplaying.) You also describe it in the third person like in a story for example:
Arthur was really bored, so he decided to go pester Elizabeth, scarring her for life in the process. Alfred laughed his ass off.
And you could reply with something like:
(OC or Canon here) Was super bored so he/she decided to go and (whatever you choose.) Usually for Hetalia RPS, people either do it as countries or do a Gakuen version. (Gakuen means Highschool) Also, we usually RP over notes. (RP is Roleplay)
