Hello everyone.
Today I'm so happy to enventually present you the Shadow Child, on of the main "villian" of my NG, at least he is very important for Dia's story and character building.
I haven't drawn his child and current version yet but don't worry I will come with this design soon.
Also I know he looks like a mix of Sombra and The Pony Of Shadow but don't worry you will understand why.
So enjoy the story^^

Story

Personality: As The Shadow Child, Arctic is always angry, furious and cruel. He has a cold heart and only wants to destroy The Crystal Empire. But he is also acting like a little puppy for Sombra, he only obeys the King and has no decision-making power. However as a child, he is sweet and gentle. He can also be very sad because he is harrased, but thanks to his two best friends, and also Princess Diamant, he was able to stand against his bullies. But except that, Arctic is usually happy.
Baby-Toddler Years : Nothing much to say, he had a rather calm childhood during what you can concider as a peace period in the Crystal Empire and Equestria. He was born in a lovely family and he seemed to be a normal pony. In his school he met two crystal ponies called Glee and Maya who became his BFF ever. Together they formed an amazing trio. They were passionated by the royal crystal family and Glee and Maya even met Princess Diamant once (she is 9 years older). Nothing alarming yet.
Filly Years / Present : When he was around 5 years old (still very young actually). He started to be bullied by some guys in his school, calling him a monster. Nopony did anything to stop that or prevent that to happen. Maya, Glee and Arctic's parents tried to help him but nothing seemed to work. Arctic, who had always been lively and happy, then started to isolate himself from his close one. Glee and Maya tried to cheer him but he always rejected them. He grew sader and sader. Two years passed and nothing changed. Arctic was now a shy pony, with only two friends who he treated bad during the most of the time, even if the two girls where here for him and never gave up, they actually passed some rare happy times together. One day, Glee and Maya joined a contest to meet the new savor of the Crystal Empire Princess Diamant, as Arctic was too sad, they didn't ask him to join, and guess what, they won. So the two met Dia, and when Arctic leaned it, he was so mad that he "unfriended" Maya and Glee. One day, come weeks later, coming back from school, he found a strange object on a street. It turned out to be Sombra's old horn and it was calling for the young coalt. As he didn't know, the dark magic horn took, step by step, control over him because he made the mistake to keep it. He bacame meaner and meaner then. He even started to hear Sombra's voice, he was bound with him. So some weeks later, the day when the Crystal Fair was about to begin, the love magic of the Crystal Fair woke up the Dark Magic in the Horn and this magic took a full control of Arctic, turning him into The Shadow Child. Now a slave of Sombra and his dark magic, he only had one and simple mission, taking over the empire and to destroy the royal family of Crystal. With this new power, he was able to turn anypony into a stone statue. Hense, during the great batle of the Fair, The Shadow Child was able to transform everypony who tried to fight against him. And now you are gonna ask where were our dear Crystal 7 when we need them to save the day ? Well actually the leader of the group, Princess Diamant was struggling with some personnal issues regarding her best friend Ice Light. As she didn't come out with a good plan, the royals decided to fight back the creature, as an army and not as just a little group of ponies using magic artifacts. But it was a failed and almost everyone got injured. Two ponies were left standing, Ice Light and Diamant. The princess, too affected by the previous love revelation, didn't notice a ray quickly approaching her. Fortunately Ice was here and saved her. He then turned into a statue. The Shadow Child was almost winning, only a stupid ridiculous little pony left, he thought. But he forget who she was , not just a stupid ridiculous pony, but a smart and more than everything a powerful pony, the powerful pony. Diamant, driving by her courage, but also by a big sadness, and probably madness with rage, cast a spell on the villian. He tried to fight back and during a long second he succeeded, but then the princess closed her eyes and when she opened then again, they were full of magic, her magic was increasing, incredibly increasing. This wasn't a simple ray spell, it was more powerful, it was the most powerful of all the ray, of all the spells, and he coudn't resist. The harmonious ray made with Crystal magic purified him. When he woke up all the dark magic from him deseappeared, he was back to himself, such as everypony else. The powerful unicorn was nearly on the ground, held by an unknow unicorn who was enventually Ice Light. After the day, The Shadow Child was of course forgiven because after all it wasn't trully his fault. Back in his school, the ponies who harrassed him were punished and Arctic went back to his life with his two best friend Glee and Maya. This event even permitted him to meet Princess Diamant, becoming friend with her. She stood for him against his bullies. The happyness of childhood go back and Arctic was finally happy.
