Description
On the second day of annihilation, humanity was already in complete and utter chaos following the initial corruption. Many people were overcome by their mammal instinct for survival and tried to horde the remaining sources of water for themselves. This gave rise to an enormous amount of violence and the authorities attempts to contain the situation around the world seemed futile. Admist the chaos, many began noticing the sky turning into what seemed like an ocean of flames. It wasn't long after that people saw a tremendous amount of strange meteorites approaching Earth from the sky. As they landed and upon closer inspection, some described the strange meteorites as 'fleshy-pods'. Little does humanity know, that the infestation has just begun...

Numero two in my 'end of the world' concept. I can't put my finger exactly on what inspired the 'aliens falling to earth' kind of invasion, but I'm sure it was amongst the numerous movies/games I love.

I went with an artist oil & pastel combo for laying out the basic volumes in this, then refined it as per usual.
