God bless those that try to help the newbies in any situation...Fortunately I did not have to endure that indignity on Friday. Just getting on and off was near impossible if it wasn't for the saddle and a boost from one of the guides.
Then I'm thinking... how's Katie gonna get up there without a saddle? After all she is the first human, not to mention bipedal creature, they've ever had to help!

Heehee... that goes for the camels as well. I rode one once at a theme park on Taiwan. They have wooden stairs to get on those. They've got that squishy hump... as they walk you sway like a tall ship on the open sea.
