Not as macabre as I would of liked it to be.I am so ticked on how awful this came it. It was suppose to be an extremely emotional piece,but it looks humours
I just simply hate it.Anyway,it expresses how 'restraining' one's enviornment can be.
We all have these depressing weeks so tis time I had mine.
Sydney did not come from a circus. She was the only character of mine that suited the scene. Sketchy style made this pic suck even more. Not worthy of submitting.
Side issue: -I am disgusted with ciruses.

Sweetie, I don't know how you can think your pic looks funny. In the thumbnail, maybe, but once you see it bigger, you can see that the poor guy is not happy, and you can see the detail in the chain and the whip marks and what I can assume is blood on the feathers and tail. I feel so bad for him. And a bearing rein... that's just beyond cruel... poor guy 
You did such a good job showing how some people can be so cruel to circus animals. You should be very proud of this piece, it's simply got emotion that I've never been able to portray. *gives you a hug to try n make you feel better after drawing this*

I feel the same way...I hate it how horses or any animal is treated at the circus. People only use them for profit, they never give them any love or praise for the good job that the animal did. And plus the animals get abused if they make a mistake... I hate it. You drew it very well. and I know how you feel about it *faves*

i just love this peace,I remember when one of the horses were out in a circus and it didn't do it's trick right and they just kept whipping....and whipping....and whipping.........
this piece is so touching i absolutly love it. I see not much flaws in this. it's not noticeable unless you totally study it for numourous hours (i was trying to see what you saw..didn't work that much =/)

You really musn't be so hard on yourself. It brings into new light the horrors that the circuses deal to their animals, and gives cause to taking a stand against it. I myself haven't been to the circus much, and have never realized that this truly happens. I must also applaude the color choices, and the emotion portrayed.. Most heart-wrenching :C Wonderful work here

I TOTALLY agree with the circus thing. I hate them. I always have hated them. I always will hate them. I get mad at people when they want to go to the circuses because they don't believe me when I tell them that tis stuff happens. Stupid relatives...It seems like we're not even related.
I love this, it's awesome. It totally shows ALOT of emotion, and it's just awesome. Keep up the good work. ^^

I hate the way circuses treat their animals. You showed emotion amazingly well in this picture, I can really feel the mood from it.

Reminds me of an experience I had.
When I was little, being at around 5, my grandma took me to the circus. I was amased at how 'talented' the animals were and what amazing tricks they could do, but after the show, my grandma and I were walking about, and I saw one of the workers walking one of the horses behind a large tent. I strayed from my grandmother and peeked, and infact saw them abusing the horses. :\ I cant remember much, but I remember seeing a large cut on it's withers. I never went to another one again. >\
But on a lighter note, this is very well drawn! I love your horses.

Yeah... I know this kid at my school who thinks animals have no soul; no feelings, etc. It sickened me. >\ Animals ARE living things, just like us. You dont see them controlling us... so why control them? :\

Just the abuse in general. It just seems cruel to me to force these beasts to do silly tricks for people's amusement,when they are even more dazzeling in their own habitat.

May I say wow...I think this picture personifies emotion! Not that of humor but of degredation, grief, and misguidance. She looks so helpless, yearning for someone to pull her out of the hole that she's gotten herself into.
Oh and Diana I know what your going through because last week was my turn to be down in the dumps...I just had to find that happy thought and hold on to i...^_^
And nice touch with the background...I noticed the faces and the lighting...nice.

I think its very nicely drawn, and its very emotional and very sad. She looks so miserable here, and the blood and scars really add to that mood. I sound like I know what I'm talking about. ehh... X.X
