Every sun comes to an end. If this happens to the sun that has warmed your own planet, you'd better be far away. This sun rapidly lights up, it's final cataclysm is just a matter of days.

Didn't do much lately due to a lack of inspiration. Since my main hard drive disc thought about it's very own cataclysm during the last two, three weeks, I've been cleaning my drives to save what is worth to be saved and got rid of the rest. I started this one a very long time ago, but didn't come to an end that would satisfy me. Now I finished it - for now Therefore I can just talk about the time and work it took me the last 24 hours...

Photoshop CS4
Around 25 layers
~4 hours
(Add another ~4 hours for the nebula rendering and another ~2-6 hours previous work, but that has been long ago already)
Original resolution 6720x4200
Wallpaper resolution 1680x1050, other resolutions by request.

Edit: Uploaded another version with a lot more more distant stars, since I accidentially found another way of creating starfields.
