Description
This is an old Gaga artwork. I made it in February for the "ARTPOP LYRIC VIDEO" created by the amazing artist Gabriel Marques (watch it here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=jBUxk7… .It was inspired by the verse "A hybrid can withstand these things, my heart can beat with bricks and strings, my ARTPOP could mean anything". Due to ARTPOP is based on art references, specially about Jeff Koons and Botticelli's Venus, I decided to make a hybrid between a seashell bikini-Venus, a mermaid and Koons' Gazing Ball.
Made with watercolor and pencil colors. Thanks for watching!

Your art is always so beautiful, you're such an inspiration ! I really like the technique you have with colour pencils and watercolor (I'm also very fond of these techniques), it's very delicate, and the details are always amazing, especially the eyes and the hair. I think you really understand ARTPOP and Lady Gaga universe in general. Paws up !
