When Midnight Star was a kid her parents split up, both re-married and had more fillies and foals. When this all happened she was very depressed because she loved how her life was when her parents were together, but her best friend Moon Gazer was always there to help her through it, so it doesn't come to a surprise when they start dating when they got older. Though she was very sad her when parents split, then re-married and had more kids, she gets a long with her half-siblings very well, especially her youngest half-sister, Chaos Sparkle, unlike her twin brother, Constellation. Midnight is the next heir to the throne of friendship.
