Following her grandfather's hoofsteps into the bureaucracy of Orthrus, along side Flute. Unlike Flute, Trombone took on a more behind the scenes role in the bureaucracy, and joining the economic protection end of the government. As an auditor, Trombone would be the most feared, making sure that the tax money Orthrus gathered was used correctly, or that at least everypony thought it was being used correctly. Following the money, she'd blackmail rivals to Flute, or find those to irresponsible to hold onto power and mark them for assassination. As powerful and influential as Flute is, Trombone is the true political powerhouse, as the enemy's eyes are always on her sister. Unlike her sisters, Trombone has actively let herself self clone several times, and actively trains them as her successor for whenever she is killed, knowing the power she messes with. And though she doesn't use sex like Flute and Trumpet, Trombone dose have an active sex like outside of work, with several dedicated partners.

She has a hobby of painting, but mostly gambling, with a preference for strip poker.
