SO SORRY FOR THE LONG AF WAIT HAAHHAHHAHA, i worked tooooo hard on this one for a contest and probably still wont win anything xddd
my submission for pixiv's DAM touhou project contest...1 grand prize, 9 outstanding prizes, 190 consolation...can i even make it into top 200? xdd

its been awhile since i did these sort of "powerful"-ish drawings?? my last one was the heavens feel one and part of me felt like i had to do no less than that to even have a chance xdd
drawing 3 characters is super painful...DESIGNING 3 CHARACTERS DIFFERENTLY IS AGONIZING
my knowledge of touhou was super limited haahahhaha, forced myself to peruse the wiki and a whole bunch of memes and clips like a student rushing before an exam xdd
decided to just do the scarlet sisters and sakuya in the end like a normie xdd, now that i look at all the spring-related reimu ones im a little jealous!!!!!~~
I can gladly say my effects skills have risen like mad EHEHHEHHE, im not just throwing around light balls and "add" blendings randomly this time yesss!!!!
im ESPECIALLY happy with my hair colouring xdddd, part of me felt like i made a breakthrough when i was colouring it xddd
pretty satisfied with the composition??? i wish i couldve made it look more like it was zooming towards flandre but im not complaining xddd
god bless smudge tool like always, that thing saves my ass in the strangest of situations xdd
personally i wish i couldve shown more of sakuyas outfit, im BEYOND proud of it xddd took some inspiration from azur lane, one of ayanami's costumes=][
ended up having to hide her a little behind remilia, and if i wanted to show more of her i couldnt draw flandre ripp!!!!
im using twitter and pixiv much more compared to deviantart...wont lie ive grown a little tired of this website after just a mere 1 year xdd
obv i will still upload and write these pointlessly long descriptions, but damn its taking more out of me than i would like xdd

WOW! This picture looks amazing!
I really like the colors you have used in this picture, they all work really well together, and are nice and balanced which makes it really nice to look at! Posing is really nicely done too! Especially the hand. (tricky things they are to draw XD)
Outfits looks really cool too! A nice rock band look to them.
The effects like the blurred chains, and sparks, and the background with the moon and the red and purple sky really spice up the picture, and give it that POWER feel too it.
You've done a fantastic job mate!
Doesn't matter if it took ages to complete, means you put lots of time and effort into the picture, and it really paid off!

Hahaha, yeah funny enough I'm quite the same, but I usually work on multiple pictures at once, and sometimes I get lots of work done on them all then think, "Great. Now what do I do?" since I'm the type of person who does not like finishing pictures in like one or two days, feels like I rush the works, so I'd rather take a week or two, so I can take my time, and fix mistakes I probably would not of noticed had I done it all really quick. For me, I sometimes just work extra on my manga series since that's the time consuming task of everyday haha. XD
Your welcome mate! It really shows how much effort you put into it, I feel that if I try something like that of my own, I'd end up either so irritated that I'd give up, or the picture takes like a month to finish. XD
