Issue 2 of Wootlabs! When a secret society takes offense to the presence of a new hero in Cascade City, they make a plan of attack! Meanwhile, Actions Per Minute and Square Woot go on their very first date!

Woo boy, this one. This was one of my biggest disappointments with the comic. After the Pengi origin comic was well received, I thought I'd do one regarding how Amy and Penny first met. I put a lot of time into it, and the general result was...well, nobody got it. I tried doing more silent storytelling. Tried to be a little abstract. And I think the result falls flat. The basic origin story, and what this is trying to convey:

A year ago, Amy was winning one of her many trophies at a gaming tournament. In the middle of the awards ceremony, its interrupted by an unrelated city fight between the Woot Family and Riot Girl. Amy, responding to the Woot family as known villains, kicks some butt with her superpower; i.e, being SUCH a good gamer that it translates into a superpower. >.> She's taken down by Riot Girl, but resuscitated by Square Woot, refusing to leave an innocent woman to die. And all this time later, Amy's achieved her dream of becoming a hero, just like the mystery nerd that saved her.

It's not well told in this. I should've spent more time on it, or at least, told the story better. Ah well.
