I was playing "Death and return of Superman" and got inspired to make this one after searching for this cover [link] Of course the tittle is inspired on the Batman's comics 'Batman R.I.P.'In this one Nightwing is 19 and Starfire is 18.
This is the first time I draw one of either of them (Robin/Nightwing or Starfire) dead

Nightwing's DNA is combined with Kryptonian DNA in a similar way that created Connor Kent, and he revives just in time when Starfire faces against an enemy that she can't defeat. However, the recombinant DNA only provides a resurrection, not a power increase. Also, his hair becomes as long as hers as a side effect. He defeats the enemy along with Starfire, and they consummate their reunion. 9 months later, their first daughter Mar'i is born.
That's how I see it happening.

this is so heartwarming!i honestly feel so bad for her! i wish this was a comic so i could see what heroic circumstances finally did him in! and of course it would be awesome to see starfire and batman go after whoever it was.

You know what's ironic is that they were going to kill him off in Infinite Crisis which is a comic book. But the creators intervened at the last moment.

Yes, I'm not used to sad drawing but I got inspire and when it comes to me, if the inspiration is there I have to catch it fast

Itβs the same with me! Inspiration strikes everywhere, even the market when people behind you are waiting most impatiently while u sketch out shapes and outlines in the checkout line (I carry around a mini-sketch pad in my purse). Gotta grab it before I lose interest. That happens to me a lot. Many paintings in my loft are only halfway done after unspeakable amounts of procrastination. Which reminds me, I need to pose some soon.
Anywho, itβs very important to practice all aspects in art. Once I get too comfy with one, I switch to another. Always learning, always improving
