Description
This is the back image for the brand new Haunted Casino Playing Cards that I just completed for Charles Band (Puppetmaster, Gingerdead Man) and Full Moon Features. These decks will be sold around the world in casino gift shops (some are actually haunted). I did all of the artwork, card design, and layout for each of the 52 cards. This project took over a month to complete but I think it came out looking really cool.*note* One of the cards in the spread is slightly off center...this is due to a last second edit that had to be made. The original image (a skull with coins over it's eyes) was considered "too extreme" buy several buyers at a casino convention in Reno Nevada. Charles called me up the Sunday night before the cards went to the printer (Monday morning) and had me do a completely different image that was less abrasive. I spent the entire evening coming up with/completing this and when I finally got a chance to sit and look at it the following day (after it went out of course), I noticed the card placement. Oh well, what can you do?

Nothing special. Had photographed the buildings several times from the outside. It was always locked cause it is property of the Deutsche Bahn (German Railway Company). Now I had the chance to spend two hours inside because I luckily met the guy with the keys and he let me in. Work has stopped there more than 20 years ago. Since then nothing has changed inside the building and I like the atmosphere. Something between eerie and melancholic. I deeply wish to do some portraits inside there, but that is not possible.

Haha Well I think you'd pull it off quite spectacularly, especially with there being several macabre cards. I'd definitely replace my old deck with a newer one if it were yours.
