I'm pretty much submitting this just to recruit people the new Tales Of oekaki:[link]
It's a good time! You can draw online and talk to other fans of the Tales games, new and old. We'd love to have you around.
I didn't draw this on the oekaki, but I wanted to advertise, so here's a Jade anyway. I'd really love nothing more than to see the Tales 'kaki just as lively and populated as the old one used to be.
I feel like I'm finally getting a better grasp on how to draw Jade in my own style. Only took four years, haha!

It'll sound odd, but I think my favorite part of this whole picture is the wrinkles on the upper part of Jade's uniform that are right next to his arm. Something about them just amazes me.

Really? Hah, awesome! I kinda threw them in last minute to add some dimension to his coat. Wrinkles are so hard to get right, so I'm glad you like them! \o/
Anyway, doesn't sound weird. You're talking to someone who could compose an essay in praise of certain characters' sideburns. I love it when little details turn out unexpectedly nicely.

When I imagine that in Jade's voice, it just sounds annoyed. Ahaha, guess I never thought of how he'd respond to someone actively hitting on him! The closest thing to that is when he takes off his glasses in Sheridan, I guess. :U

Maybe this is how they'd end up together. Dist would be so obstinately reluctant to compliment Jade that Jade would find himself enamored immediately, and then once they get comfortable enough for Dist to admit his everlasting admiration of everything he has ever done, Jade will turn in disgust and leave him.
