I recently beat Pokémon Crystal version. And I do mean beat- I even managed to dethrone Red. As a commemorative picture, I decided to draw my entire team, since for the most part they're relatively simple to draw.

So here's a collage of drawings I did for each member. Each is done in a different style that fits their.. character, I suppose. I'll go off and list their names and such, starting with the top-left.

Fluffy the Jumpluff. Female. Final Moveset: Toxic, Sleep Powder, Leech Seed, Mega Drain.
Fluffy was my fourth Pokémon and has been with me since I beat Falkner. While not at all talented for damaging attacks, she does manage to take down several tough opponents simply through status effects. Fluffy's also surprisingly resilient- she once took a Hyper Beam from a Gyarados several levels higher and survived. The only thing she can't handle is ice. Her Crowning Moment of Awesome was defeating half of Clair's Team using only Poison Powder, Leech Seed, and Tackle.

Stargazer the Xatu. Female. Final Moveset: Psychic, Night Shade, Thief, Fly.
Stargazer was the final addition to my team. I got her shortly before entering Olivine City so that I could have something to use Fly, but at the time I realized that my team currently had three Normal-types (I used to have a Rattata named Eloise), so I swapped Stargazer in. While she didn't learn a damaging psychic-type attack until I made it to Kanto, she was more than enough of a force to be reckoned with thanks to Night Shade. Her Crowning Moment of Awesome was hitting herself for five turns after Bruno's Hitmonlee used Swagger, then recovering and OHKOing three of Bruno's Pokémon thanks to the attack boost.

Papaya the Quagsire. Female. Final Moveset: Surf, Rain Dance, Earthquake, Rollout.
Papaya was my fifth Pokémon, and wasn't very useful until she evolved. As soon as she graduated from Wooper College, Papaya became a force to be reckoned with- mainly because giving her Rollout made her a death machine. She was the main reason I was able to beat the Elite Four, to be honest. She has several Crowning Moments of Awesome, but the biggest was taking out one of Lance's Dragonites with Rollout, and then immediately OHKOing the next one with Rollout as well.

Polka the Arcanine. Female. Final Moveset: Bite, Roar, Flamethrower, Extremespeed.
Polka was my sixth Pokémon, and stayed a Growlithe for the vast majority of the game. Because Pokémon Crystal is kind of a low-level game (save for Red), and because Growlithe doesn't learn Flamethrower until 50, I didn't evolve her until I beat Blue. Even as a Growlithe, though, Polka beat the crap out of a lot of things. She pretty much sweeped both the Azalea Gym and the Celadon Gym, and she was a driving force for my win at Olivine. Her Crowning Moment of Awesome was OHKOing Koga's Forettress.

The Weasel the Furret. Male. Final Moveset: Return, Rest, Mud-Slap, Shadow Ball.
The best member of my team, and my absolute favorite (and the only guy). Being the first Pokémon I caught, The Weasel took the place of my starter once I removed my Chikorita from my team. And what a starter he was! Despite being a relatively common Normal-type Pokémon obtainable early on, The Weasel went on to do great and fantastic things. As you can see, he's developed far more than the rest of my team- he's a secret agent of sorts. He has so many Crowning Moments of Awesome, I can't even begin to list them. A few that spring to mind are being the one to finally take down Whitney's Miltank as well as Lance's level 50 Dragonite, which were both huge obstacles.

Ariel the Clefable. Female. Final Moveset: Moonlight, Dizzy Punch, Metronome, Ice Punch.
Ariel started out as a Cleffa that hatched from an egg given by the old guy at the Goldenrod Day Care Center. While she didn't come out shiny as most free eggs do, she did come out awesome. She hung out in the back and absorbed experience most of the time, until finally at level 30 she evolved into a Clefairy. This is when she began to beat the crap out of everyone. Ariel learned Ice Punch before the fight with Clair, and it quickly became her gimmick to be a master of punching. Her Crowning Moment of Awesome was taking out my rival's Crobat in our final battle, because Crobat is mad annoying.
