Description
This is Alistair Liedan. He's a fan character of mine for the game Odin Sphere. He is a Pooka, which is a race of humans cursed into the forms of rabbit-like creatures. There is no way to return a Pooka to their original form... except for one thing.

Unlike most Pooka in the game, Alistair actually has a weapon. He uses a short sword and is holding his shield - it bears the seal of Valentine, the country he and all other Pooka resided in until the great disaster that turned them all into Pooka in the first place. Actually, I think there were a few Pooka with bows and arrows, but that's about it. They're most pacifists - the only reason Alistair has a weapon in the first place is because he's one of the survivors of Valentine's military force. The one thing that saved him from being completely obliterated like the rest of the Valentinian army was that he was a new recruit, and as such was only barely out of training. Had the disaster occurred even a few days later, he would've been killed in the resulting explosion.

I am kind of being vague because I don't want to spoil too much about Odin Sphere for people that haven't played it yet. I recommend it; it has a great story and pretty solid gameplay. My only real complaint is that there's a few instances where the game throws some super-difficult curve balls at you, and there's only about four bosses you don't fight more than once (out of twenty, give or take).

the shield came out looking kind of off for some reason. As well, I'm pretty sure Alistair's neck is a bit too thick. But for the most part I'm rather satisfied with this picture. I tried using a method where there's a thicker outline that borders the entire drawing, and a thinner outline on the inside. I think it turned out quite well!
