Description
Well, it's plainly obvious that numerous video game characters would be too short to fit in these GT3 cars without having their vision obstructed, and also too light to conform to the minimum driver weight requirements. To compensate for this, Tails and Diddy Kong (both of whom drive for Nissan) use smaller custom-made seats placed higher than normal so they can see where they're going, along with a ballast block placed underneath their seats to make up for their much lighter weight. This picture shows Tails using a placeholder block on top of a normal seat to determine the desirable height for his custom seat. In addition, because his legs are too short, the car's pedals would have to be adjusted closer to the seat so his feet can reach them, and taller pedals would have to be installed in place of normal ones.
Hilariously, I also have a piece of paper taped to the safety netting surrounding the driver's seat showing Tails' actual height and weight, comparing it to the minimum requirements, and writing some numbers down to determine the suitable dimensions for his custom-made seat.
If any of you have stumbled upon the small number of videos I shared on Google Drive, now you know why I NEVER show ANY interior shots of Tails or Diddy Kong, and even then some of the TV replay cameras can only do so much to hide the in-game avatars portraying them in the actual gameplay footage. Just use your imagination! LOL!
