Great pan! I think the extreme dutch angle is what really makes this photo unique.

If, in the UK, you've ever heard the phrase "Get 'R Done!", then I believe it applies to this photo. As you can see from my icon, I like racing too. Too bad my truck [don't have any vehicle yet, going to an auction to buy one] won't be like that..

Crazy angle. Really makes you think of the speed it must be traveling at. It brings the photo to life.

Ah so this is the infamous Daily Deviation. When you mentioned it in your journal I didn't realise it was one of todayβs features and then I saw it to the side while browsing and instantly recognised it as one of your shots. I really like the angle and how it emphasises the lines. The way they cut straight through the frame looks great. The sharp focus on the car is spot on as usual. In fact it looks so perfect that the blurred background sort of looks like it was enhanced in PhotoShop. Did you crop the image to this angle or is this exactly as it came out of the camera? Anyway, I love the way it is here and congratulations on the Daily Deviation!

i think i like this shot better than the pink one...is because there's nothing distracting about the bg...it's all green... and car is not pink!! lol...the fact that there are several division to the picture is a nice touch...it also act as perspective as the view goes further out...the portion gets larger and darker...it works in this piece that there's less space infront of the car than at the back of the car...because its composition is vertical...and it gavitaty is taking its toll here..

Now that is a well takin shot! Its neat, cuz it dose look like its gonna fall off the picture! I like that! I'm a car guy, so when I go over my finances and descover I have some change left, I will buy that print, but for now, if its ok, may I add this to my favorites?

the Uk Pickup Truck Racingseries is for purpose built 230bhp racing specials, weighing in at just 900kg, these dramatic machines place the emphasis firmly on driver ability.

it would be perfect if you had the lead-in for the car ahead of it rather than behind..

In the days of fancy ground effects used on such open wheeled racers as Formula 1 and IndyCars,
and even closed wheeled sports prototypes such as those that race at LeMans,
it was theoreticaly possible for them to stick to an upside down surface when they are at speed.
That's why on many street courses, manhole covers would be spot welded closed for the duration of the race.
Otherwise the suction of the ground effects would rip the manhole cover right up into the car.
