Description
The tsungi horn. Since it doesn't have any valves, it is an old style 'natural horn'. You can bend a note (yes, that's what it's called) with either hand stopping (cupping your hand inside it to change the pitch) or, if you have more talent, with your mouth. However, the tsungi horn as pictured would sound like a kazoo attached to a megaphone. Real natural horns are long and skinny, not short and wide. Maybe what we see of the tsungi horn is merely the case and inside that is a lot of nice long skinny tubing for producing that fat horn sound I like so much? (Actually I think a case would muffle things. The physics here are not working for me. Is it magic?) The tsungi horn BOTHERS me. That thing ain't right.Related content

Now this is an interesting picture, and I'm finding your physics on musical horns fascinating!!
Oh, and I read "Four Minute" a few weeks ago and I want to let you know that I LOVE THAT. (And I'm curious if you have your other Esca stuff available somewheres, some of the links on Lemonade are broken.)

Thanks! I still <3 the tsungi horn, even though it's impossible looking.
