Description
I've been working on this one for a while now and I'm quite happy with the result! Kida is a very cool and different Disney character so I decided to draw her.I kind of cheated with the water using a stencil from here: [link]
The rest is all done by me with references from Google. DOne in Artrage 2 with Wacom Bamboo Pen.
Oh and sorry for the rubbish anatomy.. Not my strong point. :S

Hey Diego,
Well done.
I 'cheat' as you call it with stencils to add texture to my images on a regular basis. Without the ability you have in the real world to take rubbings, and with the way 'stencils' work, I see it as the digital equivalent to that in ArtRage.
Obviously not so easy to take a rubbing of the sea - but I bet you find as and when you use stencils more, they are never 'just right' and you have to go in and paint/draw over them to make them work with the image properly. You haven't just snipped a bit of a photo and dropped it in behind the main character, to look like some sort of jigsaw. You have made sure the colour and tone of whatever brush you used work with the image as a whole. You may not have worked much over this stenciled area but it works as is. The fact that you have used it sparingly shows you understand how it works best.
As you gain in confidence with introducing stenciled areas for different reasons/effects, your urge to tinker and tailor them to fit in is likely to grow. It may get to the stage where you almost completely overwork areas at times. Enjoy it - it's fun - and it's not cheating - it's a from of digital compensation for the loss of physical input.
Keep on pushing those boundaries my friend.

Gosh, thanks a lot for your comment! I will definitely try to take everything into account that you have said. I am only a beginner so I will start developing skills and confidence in using the program. Thank you very much once again.
