Description
Very simple scene of some of pirate ship arriving to some port. I tried to give it a cinematic framing, It's the beginning of a animation short I was developing (in my mind). Photoshop.It's my first matte painting btw.

Fabulous! I really like the ambiguity of this painting. It could very well be pirates arriving for war, or they could be returning for a peaceful rest between pillaging. It could be soldiers returning from battle. The atmosphere is so visible, but it could be light or dark, depending on the viewer's imagination. Really beautiful work!
