This one is fantastic. You really are a master of graphite. It's amazing how you manage to direct the viewer's attention into the eyes (or whatever feature you desire) of your characters by doing just a light shading. Sometimes that kind of minimalism can be much more effective than a hyperealistic drawing because the former focuses more on specific features of the characters that make them who they are, their essence and whatnot.. great works.Β

The hair is a bit low-contrast, also quite bright. Therefore it looks greyish. But I really like the little strains on her forehead and over her ear. And not to forget, you really really painted her whole face very very clean, I LOVE it. I'm not as good as you, always trying to improve in that direction, I just like the clean style

Thanks, the problem with drawing hair darker in this kind of sketches, is that it takes too much attention, because there are no dark areas on the face or neck to balance. If you see my other works, youΒ΄ll notice that in most of them the darker lines are in or around the eyes, where I want the attention to be
