Description an ancient armor with the enraged soul of a bloodthirsty warlord long passed away residing within.
brought back from the spirit world by strong necromantic powers he rises to collect souls of mighty warriors.
the dark magics that make this undead samurai move are the very souls of the countless warriors he has slain.
those souls become part of this unholy piece of armor and they make izamu's rage even stronger.
destroying izamu is almost impossible, for those who try do not only fight izamu but al the souls he has taken.

What is your process in creating these minitures? What materials do you use?

diejango In reply to ArtJinn [2015-02-26 10:21:36 +0000 UTC]

this miniature was not created by me.
it is a kit you build and then paint after that.
so the paintjob is done by me but the model is from a wargmae called malifaux

Great work, love the paint job on this! Quick question, are these original miniatures by you or are they painted by you? Either way brilliant job

the spirits are from the GW mortis engine. a very nice idea using them on a single mini

THIS is AMAZING, dude well done.
Is the Lore by you? It is so epic, and fits the model so well.
the model is pretty dark but look great as far as I ca see it. I love the little swords, they remember me of yesterday, when I had to carry a wooden katana and a tinier sword on both my hip sides in ninjutsu and still had to do the combat techniques without touching my opponend with the seath.

Edit: oh I forgot to say that these gohsts are amazing too, even if they normally don´t take as long as normal miniatures.

thanx man.
thats right lore is by me yes...it is my first time so i'm glad with the positive feedback haha
i'm gonna try adding it from now on to the pieces that allow it.
i bought the spririts from ebay...they are originally from the mortis engine.
looking at it now i should have added some highlights but i didnt know how at the time haha.
its my first conversionlike piece so i'm glad you like it.
by the way its awesome you practice ninjutsu im addicted to martial arts since i was 7.
ive practiced quite a few...to tell you the truth i'm in my gear now waiting for my wing chun lesson hahah
how long do you practice ninjutsu?

ps:its awesome we both like mini's and practice martial arts

ye i was thinking that the spirits are GW but wasn´t sure didn´t see them for quite a while.
I have always problems adding the lore becouse I have so much to do but spend most my time watching pretty pictures.

the funny thing is that I made the test training yesterday, the first martial art I´ve done for 7 years when I quit Judo for guitar lessons.
I´ll start doing it seriously when my exams are over, therefore after the 25.4.2015 (that is how dates are displayed in germany don´t know how it´s at your place but you get the day anyways)
so yeah pretty much me forgetting to mention that it was a test training I´m sorry about that, now I feel evil.
damn I´m sad, I messed that up, well it will be true soon.
I´ve done judo only for one and a half year. Nothing I enjoyed, since the trainer was sometimes cruel and me being a ball at that time didn´t help either my weight was 95 with 11-15 years never changed until I got 16.
So I plan on doing martial arts again.

yeah i never added lore either...because i thought if the miniature is not created by myself i didnt have no right to do so.
but sometimes i have a dfferent idea about the story of the mini than the Original story.
so when i have that feeling im gonna add my own lore
or at least try..im no writer hahaha.

dont feel bad about that bro...i think its nice you have the same interest...i also played the guitar for a while so now its getting weird haha.
ow it was your training lesson...so you did you like it or are you just looking for a new sport to practice?
i myself did 7 years of taekwondo,2 years eskrima and 3 years jeet kune do.and now ive been practicing wing chun for about 2half year.
also did a lot of test lessons in different sports.
me and my friends also spar a lot everybody has a different sport like boxing or krav maga so we learn a lot from each other
i understand why you quit judo...my eskrima teacher gave me a hard time to thats why i quit(believe it or not but she was a woman shame shame shame hahah)
but its good to finish school first specially if you thinking about getting serious with your ninjutsu.
btw its the same here...first the day then the month than the year...i live in holland so its not that far from you.

I want to have a sport, if it is a matrial art, then I will like it even more,
BUT the importanst thing to me is that I don´t do it alone, as I said, I love people. If the people are shut in, then I´ll have no fun, this can´t be the case here, becouse I already know someone in that group.
I like it very much, but if I ever wanted to get serious, which I´m not extremly up to in these years (I was in the past someone who did everything serious that he liked) , I´m more about doing something with friends than focussing on single things. If you stand at the top but feel alone you ask yourself why you are doing this, but I don´t know if you get what I mean, since my english isn´t the best.

If I want to get serious though I think I´ll have more time while my studys than when I will start to work, which can still take 5-6 years since I want my master and aren´t sure how long this takes.
I think when you work at engineer, you will not have much freetime, they are needed everywhere and there are too few of them,

diejango In reply to TheBl4ckCat [2015-02-26 11:29:54 +0000 UTC]

yeah i know what you mean.
my 2 best friends do martial arts togehter with me.
but to be honest i started alone i i dont mind doing it alone...although its Always more fun with friends...youre right about that.
just love the sport and dont care who i do it with.
its nice you can train at home with friends too but i see my friends very often so i wouldnt mind.
but i know what youre trying to say...and it doesnt suprise me cause you are a social person that much ive learned
thats why i Always enjoy our little chats
but you are learning for engineer thats awesome man...i doubt you wil have problems finding work.
good for you man.
where i live and in my work its difficult finding work like i told you before ive been home for a few months now and its not looking too good.
but hey at least i have my minis,my sport and my girlfriend hahaha so ill just wait until things get better.
but thats the reason i would like to make money with minis and airbrushing cause every winter is the same in my work.
Always at home and no work in the winters and its a drag

one of the reasons I wanted to be an engineer is so that I can fill a place that is needed and don´t have to take the jobs that everybody wants, so others could do it instead, just stupid that there are jobs where too many people apply too and those jobs that have urgend need for more people. It´s just sad if not everybody gets the chance to find work, but all germans know that the communism that wanted to shut down this problem failed hard in the former DDR, politics might sometimes want the right thing, but nearly every time they fail at achiveing it, may it be from corruption or pure cluelessness.
Seasonal work sucks too, that it even has to exist, and most of the time these aren´t that well paid jobs <.<

a girlfriend, oh well that is hard for me to find we mechanical engineers have our own buildings to study at, some streets away of the main tract (ca 10 min to foot) and nearly no women study that, so yeah engineer seems to be still a mens job. Therefore hard to get known to any. We joke about that our women qoutes are filled with men that have long hair. xD

damn thats a lonely life my friend.
dont you go out n stuff?
thats how i met my girlsfriend.
i heard you have realy cool partys in Germany specially berlin.
some of my friends go every year and i have to listen to their awesome storys al the time hahaha
maybe ill go to sometime.
or dont you like dance music n stuff?

TheBl4ckCat In reply to diejango [2015-02-28 15:42:06 +0000 UTC]

I was in residental school and gone only to private partys... so I never gone into any disco, I never learned how to talk about unspecific things like smalltak.
Moreover I don´t know how to start conversation... I don´t know many things.
I only know that I don´t stop talking once I started it, this fears people away.
and being one of the best at school and one semester the best of the whole school, don´t help you to make friends or learn doing it, since people envy you. This causes hate....
5 years ago I started to change myself into a social person, I´m still too shy to speak to female strangers, even though I speak to men like they were my lifetime friends, no matter if I know them....
So I fear if I woul to to any dicso I would just sit somewhere and waste my time or dance alone, since I love to dance, but most of the time freestyle breakdance (without that crazy stuff) or shuffle.
At some private partys i was a attraction, the only guy that could shuffle properly <.< even though I´m not that good at it. I love nearly all music, just "schlager" the music germany is known for, isn´t my thing, but no disco would play that ( I hope), that is more for things like "Oktoberfest"

In summary, I only go out to meet friends, daily, either in university or at my club, but there are no women in my hobby and nearly none in my mechanical engineering studys. though there are Asian like everywhere. I heard we have a partner university in china. But I´m scared to talk to them, they are always in groups and seemingly never with European, even in my Japanese course I didn´t get to talk to them. In short they look unapproachable and scary. So mean to say that xD
I would love to talk to them, since I´m a fan of people and like to get to known to different opinions of things, but I´m scared x.x .

In the past I was the poor boy who had to like steal bread, nobody wants to be a friend of that.
Than I was the one that learned too much for school in residental school, since I was afraid of people, nodoby wants to know that either.
After that I began to become what I am now, but I´m still changing myself I don´t want to be shy.

I´m still 21, my life isn´t over yet I guess

hmmm a fear of woman.
sounds like you need a few girlfriends...that wil solve the problem i garantee it.
i didnt talk to girls when i was about 15 just didnt like them haha.
but when i started going out n stuff it just came naturally.
so cheer up man...its like you said your life aint over.
your only 21 you wil be just fine you just need to be a bit bolder maybe.
just go there and talk if they dont like it who cares if they do like it the next time wil be easyer for you.
i think thats the way to go.
but i know how you feel i used to be very quit al the time till i was around 15 now i never shut up.
sometimes even my girlfriend gets tired of me haha.
but thats just me...i think socializing is one of the most important things there is.
that why you should talk to everyone

I had a girlfriend back in school days when I was 17, but when she left school for an apprenticeship as whatever it is called in english (something with Biology and laboratorys) she left the school and me, since we both didn´t want a distance relationship (I should have known that I´ll regret that).

I just have nothing in common with girls nothing to talk about, no one seems to care about art or anime/manga/cosplay, so sad that I´m bad at smalltalk, I just don´t care about weather and such timewasteal things.
I love to paint miniatures and play with them to waste my time, I get to known to 1 woman that does this hobby while my ca. 10 years of hobby.
Therefore, my hobbylove seems to be my bane too.

my problem would be: talk about what? this is the reason I don´t try. It´s just weird to go to someone and just say hi, without having anything to say, I´m only used to talk about specific things like I already said, this is the reason too why I nearly never speak when I visit my father and his family, even if we didn´t see each other 1 month, I got nothing to say, but hobbyspecific things.
Another reason why I love this site, her you have a reason to speak, something that you definetly know others are interested in. A big reason why it´s so easy to communicate around the net.

yeah youre absolutely right...here you can talk to people with the same interest.
and i find that realy nice myself.
i am kinda like you i hate jibber jabber smaltalks but that is how most woman are.
my girlfriend hasnt has the same hobbys as my just like you said...but when i have nothing to talk about i like to make people laugh.
thats my gift i gues or else i would be alone now.
i just play with girl a little(not like a player)have a joke fool around a bit and eventualy you wil get the talk.
and that doesnt necceseraly has to be about hobbys(cause believe me most woman dont even have hobbys ) but can be about a lot of things i gues.
about how you feel about certain things and sharing opinions and stuff...thats what me and my girlfriend do.
also we like to make fun of eachother so that other people wil think damn those to are not sane whahahah.
kinda like shocking other people with our pranking n stuf
what im trying to say is it doesnt have to be smaltalk if you have humor you wil come a long way womanwise.
dunno if youre like that but if you are maybe you should use that the break the ice.
