Great work on the pitcher, metal is so hard to paint!

Thanks! Yeah it's hard, but I loove the way it looks, especially in low light like this.

The dark, moody lighting here is something you don't often see, but I think you pulled it off well The detail that went into the gauzy material is very good, as are the reflections on the jug

wow, you've got skill going on, at first I thought it was a photograph. If it wasn't for the lemon I still would have believed it in full view!

Oh yeah, working from life is a great way to practice light and color. That's cool that you can do it on your phone. I'm still waiting for someone to come out with a pressure-sensitive tablet that we can paint on. That'll be totally righteous

couldn't help but read this., the pressure sensitive tablet that you can paint on exists tho., it's called the cintiq and it's crazy expensive!

Yeah but that's not a portable device; it needs to be plugged into a power supply to use. I would really love something like an ipad that you can draw digitally on wherever you go, like a sketchbook. Technically you can draw on the ipad (there's a wacom pen that you can buy for it and it has a few painting apps you can install) but the screen lacks pressure sensitivity.

ya. even if its smaller than the ipad, if they can have pressure sensitivity and most of the functions of photoshop I'll definitely get it.

Yeah it did! I actually started it a few months ago and have been working on it off and on since then. Didn't expect to spend so much time on it, but it always seems to go that way.
