I as a whole absolutely love Splatoon and is one of my favorite video game franchises! So it doesn't have pain me to know that this is unfortunately the last time people all around the world will ever get to play this beloved game, yes thankfully we still have Splatoon 2 and Splatoon 3 and i am mighty grateful for that, but Splatoon 1 to me is still unique in it's own way, and it of course was the very beginning to this whole great world of Splatoon.

I unfortunately didn't start playing this gem until December 2019 and never even made it to level 50, but i had fun nonetheless, even when the game would get frustrating at times, now i also feel like all the work i put into the game from buying all the weapons, clothes and unlocking the octoshot replica is now going to waste thanks to Nintendo deciding to cancel the online servers for this.

And I'm sure we all will miss the particular assets this game has that later games don't such as specials like the ink strike and the killer wail, and some of its maps, music, etc.

And now, with all that said, farewell Splatoon 1. Thank you for being totally fresh! Booyah!

(maybe hopefully one day loads of people on the internet can create a great petition for Nintendo to have maybe only Splatoon 1 being the only game on the Wii U to still be played online as plenty of people still love that game I'm sure, that would be nice cuz I'm getting quite sick to the back teeth of video game companies constantly cutting online services to games that people actually still enjoy playing)
